PST.AG is establishing an independent Process Quality Assurance and Audit function to provide objective oversight of business processes, governance structures, and management systems across the organization. This is a purely assurance-based role with part time working hours. The role requires deep knowledge of quality and information security standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001) sufficient to identify gaps, non-conformities, and structural weaknesses. The position operates independently from operational functions and reports directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Audit & Independent Oversight
- Act as an independent, on-demand Process Quality Assurance Manager providing objective oversight across PST.AG.
- Design and maintain the audit methodology and assurance framework (not the operational processes themselves).
- Plan and conduct risk-based internal process audits.
- Identify non-conformities, control deficiencies, documentation gaps, and operational risks.
- Assess alignment with internal governance standards and external frameworks.
- Issue structured audit reports with clear findings, severity ratings, and recommendations.
- Monitor and track remediation actions to closure (without executing them).
2. Standards & Certification Readiness (Assurance Perspective)
- Assess organizational readiness against standards such as:
- ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems)
- ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management Systems)
- Identify compliance gaps and structural weaknesses.
- Evaluate adequacy of documentation, traceability, and control mechanisms.
- Support management in understanding certification readiness status.
- External certification audits are excluded unless separately agreed.
3. Collaboration with Process Design Function
- Work closely with the Business Process Consultant to ensure audit findings inform improvement initiatives.
- Maintain clear functional separation between assurance (QA) and implementation (process design).
- Ensure independence while enabling constructive feedback loops.
4. Reporting & Governance Transparency
- Provide quarterly audit summary reports directly to the CEO and senior management, including:
- Key risks and systemic weaknesses
- Trend analysis
- Repeated control failures
- Remediation status tracking
- Escalate material risks where necessary.
- Promote a culture of accountability and governance maturity.
5. AI-Enabled Audit Support
- Utilize AI tools to enhance audit efficiency, documentation review, and control analysis.
- Support automated quality checks where appropriate from an assurance perspective.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of AI-enabled controls implemented by operational teams.
Your Education and Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in process auditing, quality assurance, or governance roles
- Deep understanding of ISO 9001 and/or ISO/IEC 27001 frameworks from an audit perspective.
Your Skillset
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance audit rigor and analytical review
- Solid understanding of BPMN 2.0 for evaluating documented processes.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance audit rigor and analytical review
