PST.AG is looking for an experienced Linux administrator to join the IT team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems
- Ensure the design of the system allows all components to work properly together
- Make recommendations for future upgrades
- Maintain network and system security
- Troubleshoot problems reported by users and analyze and isolate issues
- Monitor networks to ensure security
- Evaluate and modify the system’s performance
- Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers
- Maintain the integrity of the network, server deployment, and security
- Ensure network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations
- Design and deploy networks; maintain network servers such as file servers, and VPN gateways
- Perform network address assignment
- Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration
- Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services
- Administer servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches

Your experience
- Experience in tools and languages: Gitlab (or Github), Prometheus, Grafana, Python, Java, Node.js.
- Experience in at least one of these tools/languages: PostgreSQL, MySQL, ArangoDB.
- Experience in at least one of these tools/languages: Firewall (iptables/nftables), Apache Nifi, Apache Web server, NGINX.
- Demonstrate experience in Scrapy, self-hosted proxies, and REST APIs.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of work experience managing core Linux system (Debian/Ubuntu).
- A Bachelor´s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or any other field.
- Ample knowledge and experience in system automation, deployment, networking, and implementation.
- Very good Troubleshooting skills on Linux system for applications, services, networking, hardware, etc.
- Demonstrate knowledge in handling distributed data systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with AI/LLM use cases (e.g., automations, strength and limitations).
- Experience in remote working environment
