PST.AG is seeking a  a highly skilled and experienced IT Deputy Head/Engineering Manager to support the IT Head in managing the company’s technology infrastructure, IT operations, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset to drive IT excellence while ensuring alignment with business goals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy
    • Assist the IT Head in developing and executing the IT strategy in line with business objectives.
    • Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  •  People Management & Team Leadership
    • Hiring & Onboarding: Recruit, interview, and onboard engineers.
    • Mentorship & Growth: Coach engineers, provide career guidance, and facilitate skill development.
    • Performance Management: Conduct reviews, set goals, and address performance issues.
    • Team Culture: Foster collaboration, psychological safety, and a positive work environment.
  • Technical Leadership & Decision-Making
    • Architecture: Ensure scalable, maintainable solutions through best practices.
    • Technical Direction: Align team efforts with business goals and long-term tech strategy.
  • Digital Transformation & Innovation:
    • Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance business processes and customer experience.
    • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
    • Oversee the implementation of ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems as needed.
  • Project & Delivery Management
    • Planning & Execution: Break down projects, set timelines, and manage resources.
    • Process Improvement: Implement Agile/SCRUM, CI/CD, or other workflows to boost efficiency.
    • Risk Management: Identify blockers and mitigate delays.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Stakeholder Alignment: Work with Product, Design, and Business teams to prioritize work.
    • Communication: Translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
  • IT Operations & Infrastructure:
    • Manage day-to-day IT operations.
    • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems and infrastructure.
    • Implement IT best practices, policies, and governance frameworks.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years experience in leading multiple technical/project teams.
  • 6 years software development experience.
