We are seeking an independent Regulation Manager for Sanctions Lists to join ILE (Individual and Legal Entities) Department. As a Regulation Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of regulatory compliance. In this role, you'll help shape how our customers stay compliant by turning complex rules and regulations—from laws, courts, and agencies—into clear, practical compliance strategies.

Areas of Responsibility:

Regulatory Intelligence & Governance

  • Monitor, research, and analyze international laws, regulations, and sanctions, including legislative drafts, judicial rulings, and executive guidance—that impact business operations.
  • Track and interpret regulations on international direct and secondary sanctions, indirect sanction ownership structures, and politically exposed persons (PEPs).
  • Interpret guidance from agencies such as OFAC, FinCEN, or the EU’s CFSP list, including updates to sanctions thresholds.

Compliance Workflow Design

  • Oversee and adapt technical workflows with development teams to ensure compliance with current and emerging regulatory requirements.
  • Translate new laws and judicial precedents into automated screening protocols within ERP systems like SAP.

Stakeholder Communication & Legal Advisory

  • Translate legal regulations into formats that are understandable for technical teams (developers), ensuring compliance with legislative and judicial rulings.
  • Summarize enforcement trends and regulatory changes for executive leadership to align business strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and customers.

Documentation, Quality Control & Problem Resolution

  • Write and maintain clear documentation of processes, workflows, and regulatory updates.
  • Conduct quality control checks, troubleshoot workflow/data issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Ensure processes are aligned with service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with management on long-term compliance goals and support the implementation of compliance products, as assigned by the Team Lead.

Your Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, International Relations, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience interpreting legislative texts and judicial rulings affecting compliance, with proven ability to operationalize court decisions
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, data investigation, and analysis of international business structures

Your Skillset

  • Legislative analysis: parsing draft laws and regulations
  • Judicial insight: tracking precedents and case law databases
  • Executive strategy: Align screening processes with agency priorities and enforcement mandates
  • Sharp analytical thinking and thorough research skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders
  • Good understanding of Large Language Models (LLM) and how to use LLM to improve current processes
