Business Development Manager (EMEA timezone)

We are looking for a business development manager in the EMEA timezone, to help us develop opportunities for business growth in EMEA and other regions.

As a Business Development Manager you will:

    • Generate your own pipeline of opportunities by sourcing new business through outbound and inbound strategies. You will manage the full sales cycle, comparable to enterprise sales methodology, and achieve sales targets.
    • Be responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct and indirect sales channels.
    • Develop and implement lead generation strategies, in line with PST’s business goals.
    • Regularly assess and update your active pipeline in order to prioritize leads and identify which opportunities are more likely to convert into customers and which leads are colder.
    • Plan and execute digital marketing needs if necessary.
    • Actively listen to your prospects, understand and reformulate their challenges and pain points in order to create an offer that they cannot refuse.
    • Understand your prospects’ reasoning for showing interest and where they position themselves in the buyer cycle (Awareness Phase, Consideration Phase, Decision Phase). This will enable you to prioritize leads and identify which leads are intent in purchasing our services compared to those who are simply gathering additional information.
    • Conduct demos and build a deep understanding of our products. You will partner with our customer success team.
    • Collaborate with the Customer Success and Development teams to optimize our customer experience and improve the marketing pitch as well as the overall customer experience and service
    • Forecast future revenue and document daily key activities with the aim of ensuring sales targets.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities and potential areas for growth to ensure that our approach is consistently ahead of the curve in terms of innovation.

Must-haves

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant B2B inside-sales experience in Global Trade.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting/surpassing targets and KPIs, with the capability of consistently handling larger ticket deals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and CRM software 
  • High motivation
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Experience in both account management and building new business relationships
  • Experience in marketing
  • Other languages (German)
